The name "Here On Out" represents a philosophy centered on embracing the present moment onward. Each day we are offered opportunities to grow, iterate, and change directions whether personally, professionally, or creatively. Our work reflects the preservation of the present into the future, helping you embrace the now and carry those memories forward. 

ABOUT

Inspired by cinéma vérité style video and Montreal’s vibrant music scene, Here On Out was created in 2011 to capture documentary-style videos of artists and creatives. Since then, the project has showcased numerous musicians across Canada and Europe in one-take music videos and documented artists in unique live performance settings. Over time, Here on Out has grown to include family, couples, and creative photography that aims to capture genuine and heartfelt moments of human connection and creative expression.

Phil Creamer

Phil has worked as a musician, videographer, photographer, and freelancer for over a decade. Drawing on his background in Communications and Digital Media from Concordia University and the University of Amsterdam, Phil is the creative force behind Here On Out. 

Holly Hixson

Holly supports the work of Here On Out with her expertise in project management. Holly oversees Here On Out’s online channels, booking, and communications. 

Holly and Phil are married and live in Montreal with their son, Cielo.
